London tourist

My Dad moved to England in 1977 when I was ten years old. About the only good thing about him living so far away is that I've been able to visit the United Kingdom more times than I can remember. I love it here. Today, I played tourist, but I branched out into new areas - SOHO, Chinatown, Oxford Street. I don't know where I haven't been today. I'm bushed. I've walked miles. I also took the hop on, hop off bus today for the first time to orient myself. Saw most of the same things but learned some new facts. I meet Jim and Andrea at Heathrow tomorrow early in the morning. We're planning to walk some more around some of the major sites. I'm excited about seeing them. I'll also write more about Dad before I leave to see him. This time tomorrow, I should be there. I doubt he's expecting me. I've told him, but he's forgotten. The scariest part about seeing Dad is not knowing what to expect when I show up. Tomorrow should be an interesting day. Update: D'oh! Andrea and Jim don't arrive until the day after. Screwed up my days. Lousy brain.
