040812.jpg A picture of my sister and me, probably taken around 1983. Funny and scary at the same time.

.. brings back memories of when I had more hair

Hey, I still use my stack of orange, mustard, and green Tupperware containers like yours in the corner and I still have a big spider plant. Am I living in the past?

What I notice is that, like the rest of your male siblings, you have gained some weight and lost some hair. Hmmm. What does that say about being a Pastor?

Which one are you?

Arthur: What does it say about aging?

Those eyebrows look familiar...didn't my daughters inherit them?

August 13, 2004 | Unregistered CommenterPam

Darryl, I don't know what it says about aging. From where I am, you are still a young pup. I am a svelte 97kgs. due to all my hard work this summer, so either being a pastor is the good life, (hence the spare tire) or it causes one's hair to fall out. Lest anyone think I am being mean to my brother, I am merely jesting. That is what big brothers do. I actually really love and respect my siblings, (all of them, AND their families,) and I am quite proud of them all, as well.

I'll wait to see you in your Speedo later today, Arthur. It does say something about pastoring and genetics I think. But I'll be down to your size soon, trust me. kg? What is that? Some newfangled measurement?

August 14, 2004 | Unregistered CommenterDarryl

Hey, I had to use my calculator to figure that out! For those of us who are more conversant with the way things should be measured, it translates into 213 pounds. I have a confession to make to all you other bloggers: I am almost as bald as my brothers, and I used to weigh 263 pounds. I cannot, in all honesty, blame genetics for the latter. I was a lazy bum.

My brother Kevin seems to think this picture was taken earlier than 1983. Arthur, race you to 190...

August 16, 2004 | Unregistered CommenterDarryl

190? What, POUNDS? Fat chance!!!! (Pun intended!) I'll be happy if I can hit 205 and stay there!
