Justice

If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has his foot on the tail of a mouse and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality. (Desmond Tutu)

But if I am a member of a colony of ants, and I choose to bite the elephants foot in the name of justice, I risk the elephant wrecking the entire colony, including my queen. Even if most of the rest of the colony support my decision, our risk far outweighs our ability to make a difference. Now, if I can wait until the elephant has cut its foot, and I can lay my eggs inside the wound, I can do far more damage and have a greater impact. Unfortunately, the mouse may have to suffer the immediate consequences of my decision to wait, but future generations of that mouse will benefit more than if I had chosen to act in haste.

Good quote! But I think that I may have to disagree with it, mainly because i'm a strong pacifist. I have a hard time accepting war and other acts of violence. What if in my attempts to free the mouse I spook it and it tramples the mouse and 4 others. Without God I can do nothing right! I'd rather just pray and let God be our vindication.
