I like fast cars

040711.jpg I've heard the sounds of the Molson Indy for years, but have never actually been until now. Took in the Champ Car qualifying round, Trans Am race, and CASCAR race. Thanks to Tim for taking me - I take back everything bad I said about you when we were kids. More pictures here, but not too many. It's hard to snap the picture at exactly the right millisecond.

You know what is funny - the car seen here is a the exact same as your rental car and you made fun of it and me as well. Is there any more hypocracy to expect from this Heritage Grad???

Plenty more, my friend. Plenty more.

Hey DD ... one of the guys here ( pastors an AGC church ) got a thing going at the local speedway ... an annual ( 6th ) pastor's night: the denominational derby. Tim is known as "the pastor of disaster" ... I get to drive this year, an '84 Buick Regal ... Sat Aug 7th. Nothing like a bunch of competitive guys and gals from the evangelical pastors fellowship, eh?!? http://www.westernspeedway.bc.ca/main/Track%20Photos.htm" rel="nofollow">http://www.westernspeedway.bc.ca/main/Track%20Photos.htm" rel="nofollow">http://www.westernspeedway.bc.ca/main/Track%20Photos.htm

Don: that is very cool. Makes going to the Indy look pretty tame.

Hurray for racing! NASCAR girl here, I have yet to catch a CASCAR race. I know how hard it is to catch a picture of a zooming car at 250MPH.

You said bad stuff about me when were kids? Not much better than the noise of an 800 horse power engine vibrating through your body. It was a great day.

Tim, I only said bad things about you out of jealousy. You were much cooler than the rest of us. It was a great day. Thanks again - a good kick-off to my holidays.
