Entertained to Death

This was supposed to be a lighter week, but two deaths - both rather tragic, but not unexpected - have changed that. I hope to come up with more posts than just these links soon, but for now, here's a good article on why entertainment in youth ministry (and, by extension, the church) is a bad idea:
Basing your group on entertainment is a very rocky road to travel in youth ministry. In my experience, it's deeply flawed, quite possibly anti-Christian, and, in the end, nonproductive. Why have I completely rejected using entertainment to reach the non-Christian? Here are a few reasons...
