Mortal and weak

It's been some day. My goal was to get through the day without saying or doing something that I'd regret. I think I've made it. It's humbling to feel this way. Most days are great. Last night, I didn't sleep long enough, and it was one of those days that tying shoe laces was a major accomplishment. But tomorrow's coming... Update: Okay, now I know why. I have a spring cold. Ack. Dash men are mighty (in their own minds) but can be brought down low by a cold. As my mother used to say, "Pansy."

I keep a pair of velcro sneakers around for days like that.

This text came to mind when I read your entry: "...the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings that cannot be uttered." Ro. 8:26 Great to know we have such a prayer partner especially when we're feeling the clay of our mortality. I share your feelings.
