What does this say about me?

In the past month, I've attended birthday parties for a friend who turned 40 and a friend who turned 50 (happy birthday, Russ! It's today.). I've also attended a party with a friend who went to the same high school as me and we reminisced about what Brampton was like 25 years ago. Man. I know people get older, but I never thought it would happen to me.

You know you're getting older when you can remember how much fun you had when you were your children's age.

I once asked my 72 year-old Gramma what it's like to be old. She said, "Honey, it doesn't feel any different than 22; it's just that your body doesn't work like its supposed to anymore." I have since come to the conclusion that that gap in not feeling old in your head/heart, but having to deal with the unit's deterioration is God's witness to us that we *are* built to live forever, but sin has robbed us! Thank God for the coming new body!!
