Leighton's coming!
Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at 6:40PM
Leighton's coming in just over a week. I'm getting a little excited now. We're going to visit a couple of other bloggers and just hang out. Don't tell anyone but I'm going to try to convince him to move to Toronto so we can make Toronto the blogging capital of Canada instead of lousy Saskatoon. Once Leighton's here, we'll get to work on Jordon, Randall from Prince Albert, and others. (Shouldn't be hard to convince Steve to move to this relatively tropical climate!) Should be fun.

It's hard to be sure from under my toque and parka hood, but I think I hear the Lord calling me to Southern ministry as I type... nope, that was just my wife again...
Leave no blogger behind....
Things I like about living in central Canada: 1. You live at the center of the world. 2. ALL the good and cultural movies are released in town. 3. Cool, happening places to visit. 4. You can Spit off the CN Tower. 5. Bing Cherries in season (Juneish I believe) 6. Peaches in season. 7. Pears in season. 8. Apples in season. 9. The farms are all neatly trimed and kept up. 10. More than just country music on the radio. Things I dislike about living in central Canada: 1. Don't really have a clue what CFL stands for. 2. I'd need 8 million bucks to rent a basement suite. 3. Takes three hours to get anywhere, even if it's only the video store a mile away. 4. Ice Storms. You gotta hammer your way through the ice on your car, (With a scraper) to get to your door handle. 5. Humidity. Stinking, (The strongest word I can legally use, being an ordained minister) Humidity. 6. Can't afford to go to the cool, happening places because all your extra cash goes to pay for Auto Insurance, and a health card. 7. The heartache associated with cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs. 8. It snows an inch and the world stops. 9. It's too close to Sheila Copps.
I really can't argue with #7 and #9 on the second list. Maybe I'll move to Prince Albert. ;)
The mighty Coop in Toronto! What a great idea! Say how about we start a collection? Even better, let's sell stuff on e-bay, to raise money. I've got some Christmas bulbs to sell, don't have any wiring for them, tho. :)
