Delgado

From Canada.com:
TORONTO (CP) - Carlos Delgado says he is leaving Toronto with no grudges, although the first baseman doesn't think the Blue Jays did all they could to re-sign him.
I still remember watching Delgado hit homers off the Windows Restaurant as a rookie. Now that he's gone, I don't think I know the name of any other Jay except for Roy Halliday. It's somehow getting harder to care.

The Jays didn't want Delgado back, Darryl. By not even offering to go to arbitration, they as much as said so. I'm a big baseball fan and have been playing rotissiere for years. Get used to not being able to remember the names of many Jays. JP "Moneyball" is gonna keep us neck deep in second tier, cost effective players for as long as he is running the show.

Remember when US$52 million would pay for a decent payroll in major league baseball?

That's funny and scary, all at once. What BALCO did to Bonds, Stienbrenner did to payroll. I'm not a 100% sure, when it comes to a Bush led U.S.A. but surely the Yankees are an evil empire!
