Meeting tonight

I'm stuck in a lousy meeting tonight when I could be at home watching the election results. I'm not even American, but it's amazing how much Canada is talking about Bush vs. Kerry. Lousy meeting. I missed the final game of the World Cup of Hockey for the same reason. Maybe the election won't be decided by the time I get home.

Depending upon which newscast one listens to: CNN says it is too close to call; CTV NEWSNET implies that Bush cannot mathematically lose. Even CBC, who was perhaps the most cautious of the bunch appears to concede that Bush has it won, barring some miracle of provisional ballots, whatever they are.
