Skype to Ethiopia

My friends Jim and Andrea are in Ethiopia. I've sent them a package and we've tried chatting online a couple of times, but today I Skyped their land line. The quality was okay, apart from a noticeable delay, and it was way cheaper than calling through the phone network. It was amazing to hear Jim's voice again.

I noticed the software is free, but not the calls .. you have to buy a Euro calling card? Have you checked at your local variety store to see if the rates for calling cards they sell are cheaper (a good variety store not 5 minutes from church)
