Anointing

[Anointing] is the sense you get that God has especially poured his Spirit and divine power over a certain activity that you engage in. Not just once, but consistently. You sense the power of the Spirit, a special energy, a strange aliveness. You know it to be a sovereign gift of God, not something self-generated. Others notice it too. Your efforts bring results. People respond to you. You get through to them. You produce work that is helpful and touches people's hearts... Construct your life so that you are doing more of what God is anointing in your life.
