We're starting to work through Genesis on Sunday mornings at Richview. We're trying something different: a blog that follows through with some of the themes that are introduced on Sunday. We'll see how it goes.

Yeah I was reading lately about the Irish Bishop Ussher who dated the creation week at 4004 B.C. but unfortunately he neglected to grasp the semetic stylistic device of skipping generations when listing "the begats" of Old Testament genealogies. Fortunately most young earth theorists acknowledge this today.
