Fatal flaw

This post is from the defunct blog "Dying Church"

Jason Evans (September 18), as found through Rachel:
I'm just saying there is a fatal flaw in a system that teaches leaders not to be real people with real problems. All you learn to do is hide problems rather than work them out. You can't be a part of real Christian community if you think it hinges on you "having it together" all the time.

Thank goodness then for those that teach leaders to admit to sin, weakness and struggles. And where they can share those things with others, and grow stronger.
