Give us a break

I ordered something from the States worth $45. Couldn't get it in Canada. It arrived today. I had to pay $20 shipping plus (this is the part that gets me) $30 in brokerage fees to collect $6 worth of tax. Only in Canada, eh?

Was it worth it? (hint: Get an American friend to send whatever it is you want as a gift...if it doesn't wind up lost, stapled or mutilated, you'll at least save a few dollars) Or, buy American from Canada and pay up the wazoo. Blog on!

Darryl, I'm right there with you man. I bought a book once for $35 from a software training company. By the time it was all said and done i shelled out almost $70. Good night everybody!
