Not the problem but the answer

On the therapeutic attitude toward the experience of death:
It fails to uncover the truth we now suspect - that our deepest wounds are not the problem but the answer, that they can teach us things not to be learned through any easier pedagogy, that the key to wisdom is not at all to recover from them but to let them speak even if at first they do so in the inarticulate tongue of anguish.
