Whale Rider

Watched Whale Rider tonight. It's a fascinating film set in New Zealand. I had previously decided not to move to New Zealand because of all the blasted hobbits, but everything I see tells me that I ought to reconsider. Whale Rider is one of those movies you catch the first time, but you wouldn't mind watching twice.

I saw it to and found the landscape stunning. The little girl was cute as a button but the Father was one mean Maori and their indigenous people are so superstitious.
