From Gladiator to Irritator

Mental models are the deeply held beliefs we have about how the world works and the way it should be. Mental models are similar to assumptions but can be much more complex and detailed. When the world changes and our mental models donít, weíre headed for obsolescence... Mental modelsódue to their invisibilityóare often hard to uncover and identify. Most of the time theyíre tacit, not explicit. I can think of at least four mental models I see a need to shift as we lead our communities into this new world...
