James Ossuary

ossuary.jpg I went to see the James Ossuary at the Royal Ontario Museum today. It's much smaller than I had imagined. I'm not betting my life on the fact that it once held the bones of James, the brother of Jesus. The evidence is strong, but circumstantial. It doesn't bolster my faith in any way. But it is very old, and it is very cool. A pretty amazing artifact that held the bones of one of Jesus' contemporaries, maybe even those of his brother.
