Christina

Christina's eight today. There's no way to describe how much being a parent changes you. She's still young, but I can't remember when she wasn't around. I often look at Charlene, especially when the kids are at a sleepover, and ask, "What did we do before we had kids?" It's unthinkable at this point that one day very soon (ten years isn't a long time), she may be packing her bags for some university or college. She is a special girl - unusually sensitive, unbelievably caring (she didn't get that from me!). She's spiritually aware in ways I can't even begin to describe. She really is a great daughter. Happy birthday, Christina.
