Kid in a Candy Store

Attended the Annual Meeting of the Evangelical Theological Society today. Sounds boring, but it's not. As I browsed the book displays - amazing books, not the type you find at most bookstores, most reduced 50% - somebody said to me, "This is a pastor's version of going to a casino." I'd take the books over slots any day. Some of the sessions were boring, some were fascinating. I'm back again tomorrow. More to come.
