The best sponsored post I’ve ever read. I own Max McLean’s new book on recovering the public reading of Scripture, and it deserves to be widely read.

An MP3 of Haddon Robinson responding to some who criticize preachers for “dumbing it down” – This short recording reminds me how much I appreciate Haddon.

Hey, your “three questions to ask” link goes to Jordon Cooper’s post about Black and White Churches.

Unfortunately Haddon Robinson misses the point of what most people mean when they warn against dumbing down the truth – the fear is not being too clear – instead the fear is dulling the sing and sting of the truth by watering it down.
